AretasAerial competes at the Canadian Drone Nationals Race

August 21-23, 2015 brings the Canadian Drone Nationals races to Collingwood, Ontario. The exciting new sport of drone or UAV racing is growing by leaps and bounds as it expands to many countries and new race series are organized throughout North America and abroad.

If you haven’t seen drone racing hold onto your seat, this first-person point-of-view sport brings the pilots along with remote video cameras displayed via video display goggles. The action is fast with some drones capable of speeds of over 100 mph and pulling many more g-forces than manned planes or helicopters ever could. Race registration offers a variety of classes for any experience level from beginner to pro including Beginner Class (All MultiRotors), Micro Class (249mm Wheelspan or less), 250 Spec Class (250mm Wheelspan), Open (anything and everything MultiRotor) and Fixed Wing. Andrew will be competing in the 250 and Open class races duirng the multi-day event.
